The sliding properties of the low-weight drylin® W linear bearings and carriages characterise the new drylin® W profile rail made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic (GRP). The profile rail has a very high media-resistance and is a cost-effective alternative to materials such as stainless steel. Due to the absence of metal and its non-magnetic properties, it is suitable for applications in medical equipment as well as in measuring systems.
